Case Study AND PEOPLE + adidas

ANDPEOPLE contacted us with a vision for the launch of adidas’ new NMD sneaker. It was one of many releases taking place simultaneously around Australia, with the Emporium Melbourne location the site for Victoria. Working with a global brand like adidas, we knew the event was going to be world class.

We were granted access to the Emporium shortly before the doors were thrown open to the public, followed by shoppers eagerly rushing in out of the cold. Our barista Shaun looked striking in his custom #NMD apron provided (pictured below), sending out every coffee cup with a specially designed stamp.

By the end of the 90 minute sprint, we'd handed out 120 cups of high quality coffee and the atmosphere was alive and vibrant. ANDPEOPLE brought along their photographer Nicole Reed to document the launch, the cart, the crowd, and the shoes (before they sold out).
Between the apron, the branded cups and the custom panel, there was little doubt left in anyone's mind that the Emporium Melbourne adidas location was doing something big, with crowds gathering around to see what all the fuss was about. The buzz surrounding the event overflowed to social media, with Instagram, Twitter and Facebook posts of the day popping up all. over.
